About The Beachouse, Fiji Islands

Launch notes
Flat water conditions make launching straightforward; ESE and E winds are most reliable with good consistency from April to November. Watch tide levels as shallow areas become hazardous at low tide.
Gear & clothing
Gear · 12-knot average winds suggest bringing 14-17m kites for lighter wind days and 12-14m for stronger days. A twin-tip or directional board works well in flat water; consider a wave board if venturing to reef breaks.
Clothing · A 2-3mm wetsuit or lightweight rashguard is adequate year-round due to warm tropical waters (26-29°C). Quick-dry shorts and UV protection are recommended for extended sessions.
Crowd & etiquette
Respect local fishing areas and maintain distance from other water users including swimmers. Communicate with other kiters regarding launch zones to avoid congestion on busy days.
Additional notes
Book sessions during the optimal months (April-November) when winds exceed 12 knots consistently; December-March can be inconsistent. Check local tide times carefully as flat water advantages disappear during extreme low tides.
